The 2026 Comic Book laureate, Cati Baur, is in residence at Chalet Mauriac in October 2026 to finalize her next graphic novel.

Cati Baur, the 2026 Comic Book laureate, is currently in residence at the Chalet Mauriac during October 2026. She is continuing the creation of Tous les chemins (All Paths), her next graphic novel scheduled for publication by Dargaud in 2027.
In this album, she reunites with Marcie Bangor, the heroine of Marcie, le point de bascule (Marcie, the Tipping Point), for a new investigation intertwining family ties, transmission, and family secrets. The work, approximately 150 pages, will cover script, drawing, and colors.
Born in Geneva in 1973, Cati Baur first gained recognition through her BD blog before venturing into illustration and comic art. Since 2007, her work, often described as sharp and feminist, explores life trajectories, intimacy, family, and self-reinvention.
This project, Tous les chemins, is the second installment of the investigations by Marcie Bangor, a detective previously featured in Marcie, le point de bascule (Dargaud, 2025). The plot will revolve around yarn bombing (urban art involving crocheting or knitting works placed in public spaces) and the heroine becoming a caregiver for her mother after a stroke.
Her previous works include La Gosse (The Kid) (Rue de Sèvres, March 2026), Pisse-Mémé (Piss-Grandma) (Dargaud, 2023), Vent Mauvais (Bad Wind) (Rue de Sèvres, 2020), and the series Quatre Sœurs (Four Sisters) (Rue de Sèvres, 2011-2018).
