A new solidarity initiative is being launched in Saint-Caprais-de-Bordeaux as part of the Semaine Bleue (Blue Week). The CIAS des Portes de l'Entre-deux-Mers, in partnership with the CCAS (Community Centers for Social Action) of the territory's municipalities, is introducing the Monalisa initiative. The goal is to form teams of trained and supported volunteer citizens to actively combat the isolation of the elderly.
These teams will implement various actions, including regular or occasional themed activities and home visits, to ensure that seniors no longer feel alone. This initiative is built on an alliance between public welfare services and civil society engagement.
