The Cynthia Fleury Community Health Center, opened in October 2023, received the France Santé label on December 22, 2025, recognizing its commitment to accessible local healthcare.

Opened in October 2023, the Cynthia Fleury Community Health Center is expanding to meet the health needs of its residents. Following the establishment of two branches in Eysines and Blanquefort and the diversification of its services, the center has now earned the France Santé label, a testament to its dedication to accessible local healthcare.
The official award ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, attended by Sophie Brocas, Prefect of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and Gironde, Sarah Sauneron, Director General of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Health Agency (ARS), and Catherine Pelletier, Director of the Gironde Primary Health Insurance Fund (CPAM).
This accreditation acknowledges the Cynthia Fleury Health Center's commitment to accessible local care and the quality of patient management throughout their treatment journey. It also supports the development of diverse healthcare services tailored to the community's needs.
The France Santé label is part of a national network of medical facilities aimed at enhancing the visibility and accessibility of local healthcare. There are 281 such structures in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with 42 located in the Gironde department.
Obtaining the France Santé label recognizes a commitment to quality and accessible care, demonstrated by the presence of general practitioners with established patient lists, extended operating hours, no excess fees, and the implementation of prevention programs. It fosters a network of establishments and structures and provides additional funding for service development. In Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, this financial aid has notably enabled the recruitment of an advanced practice nurse offering mental health consultations.
The Cynthia Fleury Community Health Center relies on a team of ten doctors for general medicine consultations. It also offers a range of specialized consultations and complementary examinations, including gynecology, dermatology (via tele-expertise), otology (hearing assessments), spirometry (respiratory capacity evaluation), and electrocardiograms.
Mental health is also a key focus of the services provided by the Cynthia Fleury Community Health Center. Several programs support children, adolescents, and the elderly, including the Mon soutien psy initiative (12 reimbursed sessions annually), follow-up by a specialized advanced practice nurse in psychiatry and mental health, and outreach services from the Charles Perrens Hospital's medico-psychological center.
The expansion of the Cynthia Fleury Community Health Center is part of a broader effort to diversify healthcare offerings in the region, facilitating the establishment of medical facilities such as the nearby radiology center and the Jalles Dental Center.
As of September 30, 2026, 14,074 consultations have been conducted, and 3,802 patients have chosen the center as their primary care physician. 180 individuals are receiving support through the Mon soutien psy program, including 83 young people under 20. Additionally, 123 patients have been assisted through home visits since the beginning of 2026. The center aims to achieve the Handiprim label to further improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
