Nearly 150 students from Saint-Seurin-sur-l'Isle participated in a charitable school cross-country race to benefit the ELA association, supporting the fight against leukodystrophies.

Under sunny skies, the Fernand Sastre stadium hosted nearly 150 students for the traditional school cross-country event. The activity was organized to benefit the ELA association, which is dedicated to fighting leukodystrophies.
In a friendly atmosphere, the children took on the challenge of running for up to 20 minutes without walking. More than 90 students achieved this goal, demonstrating their self-improvement thanks to the preparation undertaken with the sports educator and their respective teachers.
The morning continued with various sports workshops that promoted sharing and cooperation among all participants.
This charitable initiative was supported by the animation service, the presence of residents from the Résidence Autonomie, preschool children, and numerous parents who came to encourage the young athletes.
Beyond athletic performance, this operation aims to raise students' awareness of the disease and give true meaning to physical effort, commitment, and solidarity.
A big bravo was extended to all the children for their enthusiasm and involvement, as well as to everyone who contributed to the success of this wonderful solidarity morning.
