This measure ends the orange vigilance that was in effect until now. The decision was made by local authorities to prevent fires in the department's natural areas.
Despite this move to yellow vigilance, caution remains necessary throughout the department. It is therefore still forbidden to burn green waste in the open air, to use a blowtorch for clearing brush, or to release flying lanterns.
In forest areas and within a 200-meter radius around them, it is also forbidden to make fires, transport them, smoke, or discard incandescent debris.
The prefecture calls for everyone's vigilance to protect the forests.
