The home book delivery service from the Vayres Library aims to make reading accessible to individuals over 70 years old or those who are homebound. The service provides a broad selection of books, including contemporary and historical novels, romance, thrillers, fantasy, classics, as well as comic books, manga, comics, and non-fiction. Readers can also choose from books in normal print, large print, and e-readers.

Additionally, the library announces the new edition of the Prix Vayres la Lecture (Vayres Reading Prize), running from September 2026 to May 2027. Selections will be available in September for registration, with book loans commencing after the October holidays. This prize is open to young readers aged 4 to 16 and older. Registration is free and can be done by phone or email.
Other events are scheduled: storytelling for toddlers with Laetitia Labadie on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM in the Salle du Blason, and a Halloween paper craft workshop on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 2:30 PM at the library, led by Anne-Sophie Moreau from So Joli. Both events are free and require prior reservation.
