Plasma is a precious product with constantly increasing demand. It is essential for manufacturing many medications, particularly for patients with serious or chronic illnesses. France aims for greater self-sufficiency in plasma-derived medicines, given significant needs and supply tensions.
Plasma, composed of 90% water, is quickly replenished by the body. It is possible to donate plasma every 15 days at the Maison du Don, after proper hydration. Every donation counts for FEYTIAT to win the final trophy. Mobilize your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
To donate plasma, you must be between 18 and 65 years old, weigh more than 50 kg, present an identity card, and observe a 2-week interval between donations. You can donate up to 24 times per year. A donation takes approximately 45 minutes.
