The University of Limoges has launched a call for projects with a budget of €15,000 for its research laboratories, encouraging the integration of citizen science methods for the 2026-2027 period.

The University of Limoges (UL) has launched the call for projects (AAP) « Citizen and Participatory Research 2026-2027 ». This initiative aims to renew the approach to Science-Society relations by actively involving citizens in solving current scientific issues.
Citizen science is defined as « forms of scientific knowledge production in which civil society actors, individually or collectively, actively and deliberately participate with researchers », according to the Charter of Citizen and Participatory Research in France. The goal is to democratize scientific culture.
This call is aimed at UL's research laboratories and their communities. It is supported by a financial envelope of €15,000 to encourage the integration of participatory methods in research work and to structure an annual dynamic.
Applications are open from November 2 to 30. The winning projects will be announced in January 2027.
