The municipality of Saint-Priest-Taurion will host a civil security exercise on the afternoon of October 13. Organized by the Interministerial Service for Defense and Civil Protection (SIDPC), this drill will occur at the Primagaz industrial site, located in Bardys.
As part of this training, population alerts will be activated, including the site's sirens. The FR-Alert system will also be deployed, leading to the sending of one or more SMS messages within the exercise zone. It is noted that messages may be received by individuals outside the immediate perimeter, as the FR-Alert system does not allow for precise meter-by-meter localization.
The messages will include the phrase "EXERCISE – EXERCICE – EXERCICE" followed by safety instructions relevant to the event. It will be reiterated at the end of the message that no action is expected from the public.
