The Pays Morcenais transforms into a giant playground from October 16 to 24, 2026. The Ludobus, along with numerous partners, is rolling out an eclectic program in several towns, offering playful experiences for all audiences. On the agenda: investigation evenings, shows, sensory workshops, cinema screenings, dance events, and giant construction activities.
The week kicks off on Friday, October 16, in Lesperon with an Investigation Evening. Participants, guided by the Ludobus and Ludiklandes, will need observation and teamwork skills to solve mysteries, including Le Carnet d’Anna, a UNICEF escape game focused on gender equality.
On Monday, October 19, Onesse-Laharie will host the event "Equality Comes into Play!". The morning will be dedicated to younger children with playful activities exploring girl/boy equality. In the afternoon, the show Pollyanna and a mini-exhibition by WIPSEE will further the reflection on everyone's roles and representations.
On Tuesday, October 20, Morcenx-la-Nouvelle presents "Cinema through Games". Starting at 2 PM, children will follow Kayara's journey through various challenges and create their own Inca masks, followed by a screening of the animated film Kayara, Inca Princess at the cinema at 3:30 PM.
Wednesday, October 21, will see the festival spread across two towns. In Ousse-Suzan, the Sensory Escape will offer encounters with animals from Parenthèse Nature, lip balm making with MA’NATUR, and a workshop designed to awaken the senses of toddlers. That evening, Ygos-Saint-Saturnin will host La Boom des familles, featuring costume discovery and a dance floor open to all generations, led by Collectif Octopods.
On Thursday, October 22, Lesperon invites participants to become "World Builders". In collaboration with Terra Pitchoun, giant cardboard constructions like huts, trees, and castles will take shape, an activity reserved for local groups.
On Friday, October 23, Arengosse will feature "It Rolls in All Directions", with circuits and rolling object courses for children under 6. Later, at 6:30 PM, the Médiathèque du Pays Morcenais in Morcenx-la-Nouvelle will host a role-playing game evening led by Terra Pitchoun, requiring registration, where everyone can become a hero or fantasy character.
The festival's grand finale will be on Saturday, October 24, in Morcenx-la-Nouvelle. From 9:30 AM to 12 PM, the Centre Jean Jaurès will host Ludo’Pitchoun for under-6s (rhythmic walk, "patouillage" workshop, imitation games, rolling area, baby space). In the afternoon, from 2 PM to 6 PM, Place Léo-Bouyssou will be the hub of festivities with board games, wooden games, imagination play areas, racing car circuits, relaxation zones, inflatable structures, an exhibition on gender equality, refreshments, picnics, and a musical parade by the company Mémorabilis. A Troll Ball with Terra Pitchoun will also be offered. The cinema will screen Cars at 6:15 PM. In case of rain, activities will move to Salle du Maroc.
From October 16 to 24, the festival encourages playing, discovering, imagining, and sharing, with events spread throughout the Pays Morcenais.
