The Mental Health Awareness Weeks (SISM) 2026 will be held in the Landes, with the primary objective of promoting a comprehensive view of mental health. This annual initiative seeks to inform the public about psychological disorders, pathways to recovery, the rights of those affected, and the variety of existing resources, whether for promotion, prevention, education, care, support, or mutual aid.
A major goal of SISM is to destigmatize psychological disorders and health, social, and medico-social resources by encouraging the sharing of experiential knowledge. The event also aims to foster the development of individual, social, and environmental resources for maintaining the population's mental health.
Finally, SISM aims to unite stakeholders committed to mental health, build partnerships for local events, and open citizen debates. The objective is to raise awareness of places, means, and individuals that can provide local support and reliable information on mental health in the Landes.
