The town of Mimizan hosted a European seminar focused on youth policies, bringing together professionals from several countries to discuss youth engagement spaces.

For a week in early October, Mimizan welcomed youth policy professionals from Romania, Italy, Spain, and France. These participants, involved in the European Youth Pact, shared their experiences and projects.
The highlight of this seminar was a 'Project Agora' centered on the theme of youth engagement spaces. The initiatives presented on October 8th were the result of collaborative work among the participants.
These projects were critically assessed by three groups: local elected officials, young people from the area, and representatives from institutions and professionals involved with youth.
The main objective was to cross-reference perspectives and experiences to better understand the conditions that foster youth engagement, their ability to propose initiatives, and their participation in local life. The aim was also to develop a shared vision for engagement spaces to be developed locally.
