A targeted mosquito control operation will take place on the night of Thursday, October 15 to Friday, October 16, between 10 PM and 7 AM, in the Arènes and Route du Petit Bôo sectors of Parentis-en-Born.

The operation, carried out by the company Altopictus at the request of the New Aquitaine Regional Health Agency (ARS), aims to limit the risk of arbovirus transmission by the tiger mosquito. Residents in the affected areas will receive a flyer detailing precautions to take.
The technical services of the City will clean the outdoor play equipment and furniture at the Arènes and Puntet elementary schoolyards on Friday morning. These schools are not subject to the recommendation to prioritize indoor activities for children the day after the treatment.
The City thanks residents and families for their understanding and cooperation in this preventive operation.
