Development works around the administrative center in Parentis-en-Born are ongoing since early September, with notable progress on networks and finishing touches.

Since early September, development works have been underway around the administrative center in Parentis-en-Born. Several stages have been completed, including work on the stormwater network on Avenue Brémontier, sanitation works on Rue de Chatry by CEGETP, curb installation in the parking area and on Avenue Léopold Darmuzey, lighting setup, and the application of deactivated concrete on the forecourt and brushed concrete on cycle paths.
On October 20th, the associations Grhandiose and Bisc’Atypique visited the site to discuss the layout of future amenities. Accessibility is a key aspect of the project, with specific provisions planned, including pergolas, relaxation areas, and parking spaces located immediately adjacent to the pathways.
Work continues with the planting of various plant species, chosen to ensure year-round flowering. Next week, sidewalk, road, and parking lot surfacing is scheduled, weather permitting. In parallel, work began this week around the media library park.
Temporary markings will be made this week on Avenue Brémontier at the traffic light intersection. The dedicated left-turn lane will be removed, though turning left will still be possible via a standard two-way traffic flow.
