Following the rugby field, it is now the Robert Bascouert football field in Parentis-en-Born's turn to be converted into a synthetic pitch. The construction project, which started in July 2026, is progressing as announced.

The first phase of the work involved removing existing barriers and excavating the field to a depth of approximately 30 cm. The removed soil volume is being conserved for reuse in various municipal projects.
The borders delimiting the field were then installed, followed by the creation of an initial structural layer intended to ensure the flatness and stability of the future field.
The construction continued with the installation of drainage systems and the draining structure, essential for proper water evacuation. A clean and safety strip of asphalt was also laid around the field, accompanied by the installation of new handrails.
The shock-absorbing underlay made of black rubber has now been put in place, which will improve playing comfort and support the technical characteristics of the future surface. The next step will be the installation of the synthetic turf, specifically designed for football, with vertical fibers 35 mm in height.
At this stage, the work schedule is being adhered to, with the new field expected to be delivered on October 25th.
