The Communauté de Communes du Pays Tarusate is launching its large solidarity collection of used toys, an initiative aimed at giving toys a second life and supporting disadvantaged children.

Once again this year, the community is renewing its participation in this toy collection drive for disadvantaged children. Residents are invited to bring any toys their children no longer use, including plush toys, dolls, board games, video games, remote-controlled cars, and musical instruments. Please ensure toys are complete and in good condition before dropping them off in the designated boxes.
The collected toys will be given to Emmaüs or a local partner association. These organizations will sort, clean, and repair the toys if necessary. Some will be resold at solidarity prices in their shops, while others will be directly donated to families in need.
Electric and electronic toys that cannot be reused will be entrusted to ecosystem for recycling. Other non-electric and non-electronic toys will be recycled by Ecomaison. Both of these eco-organizations are state-approved for managing the second life of games and toys.
Collection boxes are available at several locations in Pays Tarusate: at the Communauté de Communes du Pays Tarusate (143, rue Jules Ferry - 40400 TARTAS - Maison de la Petite Enfance) and at 111, avenue de Blotzheim - 40370 RION-DES-LANDES.
