The back-to-school general assembly for the Foulayronnes Karate club took place last Saturday at the Dojo, attended by Mayor Bruno Dubos, accompanied by officials Alexandre Charié, Jean-François Buer, and Vincent Olivier.
A significant moment of the assembly was the official presentation of the French Karate Federation black belt diploma by club president Dominique Baffert to the Mayor. Gérard Massiani also announced that he will soon receive the Medal of Youth, Sports, and Community Engagement, recognizing over 50 years of karate practice and more than 30 years of commitment to the club.
The club is in good health, with 90 members as of August 2026. New sections such as tai chi chuan, capoeira, baby karate, and defense karate contribute to this vitality. Promoting health through sport remains a key focus, particularly with the Karaté Santé section.
This season introduces a new offering: body karate / karate fitness, available on Sundays from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM with Cathy Bernard.
Financially, the club is innovating by signing a partnership with 'La Bulle de Margaux'. This collaboration aims to introduce a range of perfumes, body care products, and food supplements at attractive prices, while directly supporting the club, as each order generates a €5 donation to the association.
