The Communauté d’Agglomération Pays Basque is launching the second edition of BaskInnov, an event dedicated to open innovation, which will take place on September 30th at the technopolitan site of Izarbel in Bidart. The event will gather approximately fifty startups, researchers, and VSEs/SMEs from the Basque Country.
The main objective of BaskInnov is to work on concrete innovation challenges, generate collaborative project ideas, and thus contribute to the development of the territory. Collective workshops will aim to refine the issues faced by local companies such as jeweler Orkatila, plastics manufacturer EBL from the Artzainak group, the Centre Hospitalier de la Côte Basque, and the family-run agri-food SME France Asia.
Startups, experts, researchers, and users will bring new ideas and a different perspective to innovation challenges. A pitch session will then be organized to highlight "innovators of the territory," fostering connections and experience sharing.
The event, by invitation only, is organized by the Communauté d’Agglomération Pays Basque with the support of ESTIA Entreprendre. In parallel, the Communauté d’Agglomération is also launching the 2nd MasterClasses on deconstruction & reuse, scheduled from October 2026 to January 2027.
