The town of Briscous is joining the national Pink October campaign, dedicated to raising awareness and promoting breast cancer screening. Various initiatives are being organized within the commune to inform and mobilize citizens.
The program will kick off on October 7, 2026, with team presentations, followed on October 9, 2026, by the official launch of the events under the theme "Briscous en Rose". These events aim to inform the public about the importance of early detection and to support those affected by the disease.
Among the scheduled events, a "Stroller Sale, Wardrobe Clear-out" is planned for Sunday, October 11, 2026, organized by a local association. Later in the month, on Thursday, October 1, 2026, a cultural event will take place, and on Sunday, November 1, 2026, a play will be presented by an association.
These events are part of a public health and solidarity initiative, encouraging citizen participation and support for prevention and research efforts.
