Starting November 7th, buses on the Idelis network will be accessible for free every Saturday for an initial period of twelve months, as part of an experiment conducted by Pau Béarn Pyrénées Mobilités, the Agglomeration, and the City of Pau.

From November 7th, travelers will be able to use the network's buses without purchasing a transport ticket. Subscribers will also no longer need to validate their cards on Saturdays. This measure will apply to all Idelis lines serving the municipalities within the union's territory and the agglomeration.
This experiment aims to facilitate access to public transport, encourage new travelers to discover the network, and promote bus travel for leisure, shopping, or weekend activities. It also seeks to reduce car usage on Saturdays and enhance the attractiveness of the city center, shops, and leisure areas of the agglomeration.
The choice of Saturday allows for the gradual testing of this system on a day with numerous and varied trips, before evaluating its results.
