The municipality of Montardon is showing its support for the fight against cancer. During the last municipal council meeting, elected officials demonstrated their solidarity by wearing pink. The Town Hall, the Laap’s Art cultural center, and the town's website have also been adorned in pink to mark this collective commitment.
To translate this commitment into concrete actions, a large morning of activities is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Market Square. Thanks to the mobilization of local associations and businesses, various activities will be offered for all ages.
The program includes: sports activities such as a solidarity walk, a fun run, and a mountain bike tour; fun activities with a smoothie bike, various games, and musical entertainment by the group « Chanter » from Navailles-Angos; as well as creative workshops at Laap’s Art.
“"Financial participation is entirely voluntary. All proceeds collected during this morning will be fully donated to the League Against Cancer (Pyrenees-Atlantiques Committee)."
The municipality invites the public to join this event to make it a moment of sharing, conviviality, and solidarity.
