For the sixth consecutive year, Montardon is supporting the fight against breast cancer. The mobilization of the municipality, local businesses, and associations will be marked by a series of activities on Saturday, October 17, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, in the lower part of the village. This event aims to raise awareness about breast cancer screening.
« Faithful to our commitment to the fight against breast cancer and all other forms of cancer, this will be the sixth year we support this prevention action », confide Sabine Daube and Thomas Beugnes, delegated councilors in charge of organizing this event.
The program will take place at the Place du marché, the Salle polyvalente, and the Micro-folie.
At the Place du marché, an introductory speech will be given at 10 AM, followed by a walk, run, mountain biking, and various activities with associations, 'vélosmothies', and games from 10 AM to 12 PM.
The Salle polyvalente will host a family 'taïso' initiation at the Dojo from 10 AM to 12 PM, accompanied by bands and an aperitif snack offered by the municipality.
At the Micro-folie, a thematic playlist titled 'Breasts in Art' will be presented from 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by a guided tour on the same theme from 11 AM to 12 PM.
Participation in these events is free and benefits the Ligue contre le cancer (League Against Cancer).
