The town of Mourenx, through its CCAS, organized from October 6th to 9th a series of events for retirees and the elderly as part of the national "Semaine Bleue" (Blue Week).
This week was marked by various activities focused on sharing and conviviality, such as outings, creative workshops, intergenerational meetings, and themed meals with autumn flavors. Highlights included the discovery of the Tèrra Aventura trail in Morlaàs, cooking or painting workshops at the art gallery, an evening dedicated to chestnuts and "bourret" (a local drink), and a walk on the hillsides of Monein.
To conclude this edition, a festive day focused on handisport was held at the municipal gymnasium. In partnership with the Departmental Committee 64, this event offered a moment of awareness, exchange, and discovery around sport and inclusion.
Activities offered by the CCAS continue throughout October. Registrations for November events, as well as for the Christmas meal and gift packages, will open soon.
