As part of the No Tobacco Month, the Pau University Hospital is organizing an awareness session on the benefits of quitting smoking on Wednesday, November 18th.

The Public Health Department and ELSA of the Pau University Hospital are offering an awareness event on the benefits of quitting smoking. The aim is to support individuals wishing to quit by providing advice and assistance, thereby increasing their chances of success.
The event will take place on Wednesday, November 18th, from 11 AM to 2 PM, in the reception hall of the Mother-Child Medicine Building, both indoors and outdoors.
To participate in the No Tobacco Month, a 40-day stop-smoking aid kit is available, along with a free consultation with a smoking cessation specialist by calling 39 89. A social media support system and a content library are also provided.
It is reminded that a craving to smoke rises and falls within minutes. It is advised to breathe, move, or drink a glass of water.
The No Tobacco Month already has nearly 68,000 registered participants.
