The bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz will host the third edition of the SwimRunBask on Saturday, October 3, 2026, a sporting discipline combining running and swimming.

Organized by the club St Jean de Luz Ciboure Athlétisme and Urkirolak Natation, this event, similar to a triathlon but without cycling, sees participants keep their equipment throughout the competition. Transitions between running and swimming occur without a dedicated area.
The course alternates between land and sea, with a total of 2.5 km of swimming and 8 km of running spread across several segments. The 11 transitions and swimming portions not exceeding 600 meters consecutively make the event accessible to a wide audience.
Athletes can participate solo or in pairs. Over 400 participants are expected for this new edition.
A new feature this year: the event has been certified by the French Triathlon Federation, recognizing the organizers' work since the competition's inception.
Registration is open for this event, which will start at 9:30 AM.
