As is tradition since 2020, the municipality of Sauvagnon invited local economic stakeholders and decision-makers for a convivial lunchtime exchange. The event, led by deputy mayor Francis Chapothin, was attended by dozens of people, including some of the 60 merchants and artisans in the town center and at Espace Quintaa. Also present were the two departmental councilors, Charles Pelanne and Geneviève Bergé, alongside numerous municipal council members.
Organizers took the opportunity to highlight the shared commercial spaces made available to a newly established beautician and an osteopath. They also confirmed the arrival of the Leclerc brand on a vacant site bordering the Bordeaux road by mid-November. This development will create 10 local jobs, which will be the subject of a dedicated meeting during the municipality's monthly Employment Workshops.
Mayor Bernard Peyroulet emphasized the town's various "growth levers," such as territorial dynamism and service installations. He stressed the importance of private initiative, stating that "Sauvagnon would not be what it is without private initiative," a compliment well-received by the guests.
