This morning, the National Gendarmerie's Family Protection Unit, in partnership with Groupama, visited classrooms in Fontaine-le-Comte to discuss crucial topics such as harassment, cyberbullying, and consent.

In CM2 (5th grade) classes, discussions focused on harassment and cyberbullying. Students were encouraged to reflect on situations they might face, their consequences, and appropriate behaviors, especially online. This intervention also aims to prepare them for the Internet permit. A 'harassment meter' tool was distributed to help them identify different situations and understand what distinguishes a simple dispute from harassment.
For the younger students in CP (1st grade) classes, the session was dedicated to consent. Through concrete examples and age-appropriate discussions, children learned the importance of respecting each person's body, choices, and boundaries.

These discussion times allow students to ask their questions, share their experiences, and better understand how to react in certain situations.

The municipality expressed its gratitude to the speakers from the National Gendarmerie's Family Protection Unit and Groupama for their presence and the valuable exchanges with the students.
