The Europe Challenge initiative, launched by Grand Poitiers, invites participants to travel in teams of 2 to 6 people to discover Germany in an eco-responsible manner. The targeted cities are Jena, a member of the European university alliance EC2U coordinated by the University of Poitiers, and Marburg, twinned with Poitiers. The journey will focus on youth, climate, or both.
In Jena, participants will explore a university city known for its research, culture, and student life. Marburg will offer the discovery of its hilltop old town, its stairs, churches, and monuments, highlighting its heritage, lifestyle, and local initiatives.
Teams are encouraged to envision their project and organize their stay, which must take place between April 1 and November 1, 2027. Grand Poitiers will cover up to 80% of the costs, up to a limit of €650 per participant, making this European experience accessible and promoting sustainable travel methods.
Applications for the Europe Challenge are open until January 6, 2027. More information is available via the link provided.
