The municipality of Lusignan has launched its new firewood campaign for the winter of 2026-27, offering residents the opportunity to obtain firewood.

This initiative allows residents of the municipality to acquire wood for their personal domestic consumption. The wood is sold standing, and it is the responsibility of the woodcutters (affouagistes) to cut, process, and remove it themselves. Participation conditions and regulations are available at the town hall's reception and on its website.
To be placed on the list of applicants, interested individuals must first register at the town hall's reception desk or send an email to contact@lusignan.fr. As the number of lots is limited to 11, allocations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Subsequently, each interested person must confirm their participation by completing and validating the engagement and regulation document. This confirmation must be done in early November or, at the latest, before the information and allocation meeting scheduled for Saturday, November 14th at 10:00 AM at the town hall.
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory. However, in case of a major impediment, an applicant may be represented, provided they request prior authorization from the town hall and have submitted their engagement form before the November 14th meeting.
