The traveling festival "Cinéma à la folie" took place at TAP Cinéma in Poitiers from October 16 to 18, highlighting the connections between arts and mental health.

This year, Mental Health Awareness Weeks focused on the links between arts, culture, and mental health, under the theme: "For our mental health, let's open ourselves to the arts!". In this spirit, the "Cinéma à la folie" festival offered three days of screenings and debates.
Fiction and documentaries invited the public to discover diverse narratives, question representations of mental illness, and open dialogue with professionals, associations, affected individuals, their loved ones, and filmmakers.
The festival's inauguration was on October 17, 2026. Screenings included "15/18" by Cédric Kahn, "Le Ministère de la solitude" by Kaspar Astrup Shröder, and "Sur l’Adamant" with its director Nicolas Philibert present. Unfortunately, the screening of "Sur l’Adamant" had to be canceled at the last minute due to protests and urban violence in Poitiers, as a safety measure. However, the team was able to meet and engage extensively with director Nicolas Philibert.
Additional screenings featured short films from the Poitiers Film Festival, "Le Soleil de trop près" with actor Clément Roussier, and two further screenings.

"A big thank you to Déborah Tropper, General Director of the Festival, and Claire Mayot, journalist and debate moderator, for their mobilization and commitment to mental health!"
