The festival unveiled its award recipients in an emotional ceremony. The Audience Award went to the film On s’ennuie, created by young people from the Local jeunes of Saint-Sulpice-de-Royan and the youth center of Saujon, with support from Hugo Sabourin, a previous edition's laureate. The Official Jury Prize was awarded to La Vallée des âmes, by Noé Richard and Victor Meyrand. The Professional Jury Prize, chaired by Laurie Bordesoules, honored Monsieur Boulanger, a film by young participants from Moulin du Roc in Niort. The three trophies, designed by C. Cécile et ses Vinyles, recognized the creativity of the young directors.
Another highlight of this edition was the masterclass by Laurie Bordesoules, the festival's godmother. This special session allowed young filmmakers to explore her career, share their experiences, and receive valuable advice for their future cinematic projects. Additionally, workshops introducing filmmaking professions, led by talented speakers in animation, fight choreography, and film creation, provided participants with opportunities to experiment and unleash their creativity.
Testimonials from Axel Monteiro, equipment manager at a media producer and distributor, and Romain Valette, actor and director, also enriched the event, offering insights into professional paths and the behind-the-scenes of the audiovisual sector. Great praise was extended to all young directors for their imagination and talent.
The festival also extended its thanks to the members of the professional and official juries, as well as all partners, speakers, mobilized teams, the public, and participants who contributed to making this 11th edition a memorable moment of sharing.
