In Vouneuil-sur-Vienne, the educational period for waste management has concluded. Since November 1st, collection rules are being fully enforced, with checks and potential fines for non-compliance.

Since the implementation of the new collection organization in March 2025, the efforts of the residents of Vouneuil-sur-Vienne are paying off: nearly 3,000 fewer tons of household waste have been collected, and 90% of residents now apply good practices.
However, after several months of education and support, the time for tolerance is over. Collection rules are now fully enforced. Non-compliant bins, waste left beside bins or on public roads, poorly positioned bins despite ground markings, as well as bags, boxes, or bulky items left at the foot of collective containers will no longer be collected.
Inspections may be carried out, and fines issued for non-compliance. The municipality reminds everyone that following instructions is everyone's responsibility and thanks responsible citizens, while urging others to change their habits.
