The France Services Space (EFS) on the Île d'Oléron, opened in October 2021, is marking its fifth year with a series of events. Playing a crucial role in bridging the digital divide and overcoming geographical isolation, the EFS has welcomed nearly 20,000 users and assisted with 43,000 procedures.
The 5th edition of the Open Days will take place from October 5 to 17, featuring an enriched program including workshops, a forum, and conferences.
A workshop titled 'Protecting Your Digital Privacy: Tools and Reflexes for Serene Relationships' will be held on Wednesday, October 7, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Led by the EFS's digital advisor and gendarmes from the Family Protection Unit (MPF), this workshop will cover risks in digital relationships, securing devices and accounts, and present local resources from the CIDFF of Charente-Maritime.
On Tuesday, October 13, a partners' forum and thematic workshops will be held at the Salle Patrick Moquay, Château de Bonnemie in Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron. From 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, an information session 'A New Life in Retirement' will be offered by CARSAT Centre Ouest (registration required). From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the partners' forum will allow attendees to discover online procedures with organizations such as the DGFIP, France Travail, the Justice Point, UDAF, ADIL 17, the Local Mission, and others.
In the evening, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the National Gendarmerie will host an interactive conference 'Online Scams: Protect Yourself!' on cybersecurity.
Concurrently, from October 5 to 17, the France Services Space is collaborating with the Media Library of Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron and the CIDFF of Charente-Maritime to present the exhibition 'AmourSansViolence' (Love Without Violence). This exhibition aims to raise awareness about sexist and sexual violence, particularly in romantic relationships, addressing stereotypes, consent, manipulation, and cyberviolence.
During the open days, partner consultations will be available by appointment: the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Tuesday, October 6 morning), the Justice Conciliator (Wednesday, October 7 morning), the CIDFF 17 (Wednesday, October 7 afternoon), HATEIS HABITAT (Wednesday, October 14 morning), and ADIL 17 (Friday, October 16 all day).
