The City of La Rochelle is organizing an information meeting on Wednesday, November 4, to present the development project for Parc Condorcet in Villeneuve-les-Salines, detailing the stages and timeline.

As part of the development project for Parc Condorcet in Villeneuve-les-Salines, the municipality is organizing an information meeting on Wednesday, November 4, to present the main stages and timeline of the project. This meeting follows various consultation periods held between 2018 and 2022 with local residents and stakeholders, which helped gather their feedback and needs to refine the project.
The meeting, scheduled for 6:30 PM at the Médiathèque de Villeneuve-les-Salines, will provide an opportunity to unveil the chosen development plans and introduce the project's design team. Attendees will include Éric Enon, Landscape Architect at Atelier de l’Empreinte, Laurent Tétaud from the Blanchard Tétaud Blanchet architecture firm, and the A 2I Infra engineering firm.
The transformation of Parc Condorcet will begin at the end of 2026. The year 2027 will focus on the northern section with new plantings, play areas, and relaxation spaces, while preserving the market garden activities of the Dunes Fertiles micro-farm. The southern section's redevelopment will continue from 2028, including a new access point from Avenue Billaud Varenne.
