The 28th edition of the Book and Arts Fair in Gond-Pontouvre will be held on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, 2026, organized by the association Artisanal Galerie in partnership with the town hall.

This cultural gathering will bring together authors, painters, and artisans. The public can also attend screenings of the documentary film "Mauvaises filles" on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM. These sessions will be held in the presence of Fabienne Bichet, author of the book on which the film is based.
This year, the Fair will host Ms. Michèle Soult, president of the AFMD (Friends of the Foundation for the Memory of Deportation) of Charente/Gond-Pontouvre. She will present her book titled "Hommes et femmes de Charente victimes de la répression nazie 1940-1944" (Men and women of Charente victims of Nazi repression 1940-1944), dedicated to the memory of Nazi repression victims in Charente.
The fair will take place from 10 AM to 6 PM in the Joséphine Baker hall, located on Général de Gaulle Avenue, in Gond-Pontouvre. Refreshments and light catering will be available on site.
