As part of the stray cat sterilization campaign conducted in the commune, three kittens have been spotted. They have not yet been captured, but their safety is planned to be secured as soon as possible.
To provide them with the best possible conditions, the town hall is currently looking for a temporary foster family who can shelter them, gradually socialize them, and care for them until an animal protection association can take them in. As associations are currently overwhelmed, it is important to anticipate their reception, especially with winter approaching.
Individuals wishing to help these kittens, who have some time and a suitable space (an isolated room) for temporary accommodation, are invited to contact the town hall. Volunteers can reach the town hall by email at mairie@garat.fr. They will be contacted once the kittens' safety has been secured.
The town hall thanks in advance all those who can mobilize and share this appeal to give these kittens every chance of finding a warm and safe home.
