The group Orange Blossom, known for its captivating musical universe, will be in concert on Friday, October 2nd, 2026 at 8:30 PM at the Espace Brémontier. The event promises an immersion into contemporary music with multiple influences.
Their latest album, Spells from the Drunken Sirens, translates to "Spells of the Drunken Sirens," exploring the intoxication of the world and the desire to absorb oriental, western, African, and Latin cultures. This quest led drummer and composer Carlos Robles Arenas to travel to Turkey, Egypt, Mali, Senegal, and Cuba to create the thirteen tracks on the album.
For thirty years, Orange Blossom has defied classification, blending world music, trip-hop, rock, electro, and punk. Their artistic freedom is reflected in their four albums released over three decades and their tours. The group takes its time to create, delivering works with a unique lyricism and meticulous attention to each piece's interpretation.
On stage, Orange Blossom will perform songs in Persian, Arabic, and Portuguese. As Carlos Robles Arenas states: "We are all someone else's world music."
The concert is described as a 50% electro music and 50% world music mix, promising a "100% intoxicating" experience.
