The City of Artigues-près-Bordeaux is participating in the 13th edition of the "Equality and Diversity Fortnight" by offering five cultural events dedicated to combating all forms of discrimination.

The "Equality and Diversity Fortnight", a metropolitan cultural event, aims to raise public awareness about discrimination, harassment, and rejection. In Artigues-près-Bordeaux, five events are scheduled.
A conference co-hosted by the Ligue de l’Enseignement de la Gironde and Christèle Villejoubert, the City's inclusion officer, will address these issues. A Q&A session with the public will follow the presentation. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 18th at 6:30 PM at the Gabriela Mistral Media Library.
The "one-woman show" by Marie Magdeleine Sommier will feature eight roles played by a single actress. The play, both funny and benevolent, explores the representation of madness. Join us on Thursday, November 19th at 8:00 PM at Le Cuvier de Feydeau.
The company Ludovic Guy – Mouvement-Expression will present "Nous sommes des histoires" (We are stories), a choreographed piece for about twenty seniors aged 60 to 81. This performance celebrates the diversity of bodies and offers a new perspective on aging. It will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at 8:00 PM at Le Cuvier de Feydeau.
"Les liaisons heureuses" (Happy Connections), a collaboration between the Florada activities service, the Cypressat residential care home, and the Bordeaux collective "Einstein on The Beach", will blend dance and music with 28 amateur and professional artists. This performance is supported by the Gironde department. It will take place on Thursday, November 26th at 8:00 PM at Le Cuvier de Feydeau.
The "Persona !" project by the RÉNOVATION ASSOCIATION, which annually brings together beneficiaries and professionals from specialized mental health institutions for an interdisciplinary performance, will present a unique adaptation of "Peter Pan". Performances are scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd at 8:30 PM and Friday, December 4th at 3:30 PM and 8:30 PM at Le Cuvier de Feydeau.
These events are organized in partnership with the Ligue de l’Enseignement de la Gironde as part of the accessible art festival Hors-Jeu/En Jeu.
