The Municipality of Avensan has officially launched the second edition of its participatory budget, allocating a fund of €10,000 for the realization of citizen projects.

Following the success of the first edition, which led to the creation of a health trail at the Plaine des Sports, the Avensan municipality is renewing its participatory democracy initiative. This new edition aims to encourage residents to propose and select projects that will shape the future of the town.
A budget of €10,000 is dedicated to bringing residents' ideas to fruition. The timeline includes project submissions in November, December, and January, followed by a review of admissibility and feasibility by municipal services in February and March. Residents will then vote to choose the winning projects in April and May.
To ensure transparency and the smooth running of the process, the Town Hall is seeking applications to join the Projects Committee. Composed equally of elected officials and citizens, this committee will examine proposals and validate the list of projects for the final vote. This offers a unique opportunity to actively engage in local life.
Necessary documents, including the regulations and forms for project submission and committee applications, are available online via dedicated links, or in paper format at the Town Hall reception.
