From October 5th to 18th, all of France celebrates the 37th edition of the Mental Health Information Weeks (SISM). This year's theme is "For our mental health, let's open ourselves to the arts", highlighting the link between creativity and psychological well-being.
The Charles Perrens University Hospital Center is actively involved in this national fortnight by offering several events. On Monday, October 12th, a meeting with Philippa Motte is scheduled at 3:00 PM in the hospital's cafeteria. This event is free but reserved for the hospital community (users and professionals).
On the same day, at 7:00 PM, the amphitheater of CH Charles Perrens will host a round table discussion titled "The Art of Caring". This event is free and open to all, but prior registration is mandatory via a dedicated link.
On Wednesday, October 14th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Maison des Usagers and the Park of CH Charles Perrens will be the venue for the "Bring Your Talent" event, encouraging creative participation.
Beyond these central events, professionals from the University Hospital Center are also participating in numerous other initiatives organized in the region during this fortnight. These activities include the Menthalo Festival at Bien Public, Feel Good Campus, creative workshops in Andernos-Les-Bains, theater performances in Andernos-les-Bains and Arcachon, a round table in Arcachon, a workshop in Biganos, and a film-debate in Gujan-Mestras.
