This event aims to promote giving objects a second life through encounters with artisans, repairers, and creators. Participants can share know-how and discover innovative solutions.
The program includes various workshops and activities, such as 'Récup’ ta brique' (Recycle your brick), sewing reusable wipes (for ages 6+), transforming old clothes into new yarn or tote bags, children's painting, making tawashi scrubbers, and an 'image by image' workshop to create a mini-film with recycled metal toys. Demonstrations of a green waste shredder and a 'sorting battle' on waste management are also planned.
Repair and maintenance services will be offered, including blade and knife sharpening, and advice for bicycles, computers, sewing machines, chair re-caning, and shoemaking. Recycling centers like Recyclerie du Bazadais and the French Red Cross will be present, alongside creators offering upcycled objects, recycled jewelry, and repurposed tableware, ideal for Christmas gifts.
For a convivial moment, crepes, galettes, and refreshments will be available on-site. Admission is free and open to the whole family.
