The City of Feytiat has launched IntraMuros, a new free mobile application aimed at simplifying access to local information and strengthening ties with residents.

The municipality of Feytiat is deploying a new digital tool to facilitate access to local information: the free mobile application IntraMuros. Following an initial announcement in the municipal magazine and on social media, signs have been installed at the main entrances to the town to invite residents to discover this tool that centralizes essential information on their smartphones.
"With the launch of IntraMuros, we want to facilitate access to municipal information and allow everyone to stay informed about the life of our commune. This application complements existing communication tools by offering simple and quick access to news, events, and practical information. It is also a way to strengthen the bond with the people of Feytiat and encourage everyone's participation in local life," emphasizes Laurent Lafaye.
The application offers several sections to easily find useful information: JOURNAL (municipal news, works, schools, environment, local life), SERVICES (procedures, municipal services, associations, shops, businesses), AGENDA (events, shows, sports and associative events), DISCOVER (heritage, walks, remarkable places), and ALERTS (reporting public space issues with photos and geolocation). Users can personalize their notifications.
The City aims to make IntraMuros a tool shared with local stakeholders. "IntraMuros should not be solely an information tool for the City. We want it to become one for all the actors who bring Feytiat to life. Our associations, our shopkeepers, our artisans, and our businesses will be able to better promote their activities, news, and events to residents. I therefore invite them to contact our services to help enrich the information available on the application. Our goal is for everyone to gradually adopt this tool and for it to become a genuine reflex for local information, serving Feytiat and its residents," specifies Dimitri Niossobantou, Deputy Mayor for Culture, Associations, and Communication.
The City offers digital support for those less comfortable with digital tools. Small group workshops can be organized upon request to assist residents with downloading, using, and configuring the application. Registration with the CCAS: 05 55 48 43 51.
After only one month, Feytiat has over 500 visitors and nearly as many subscribers, ranking third among the municipalities of Limoges Métropole in terms of views. Nationally, IntraMuros is deployed in nearly 7,000 municipalities and has one million downloads.
The application is available for free on the App Store and Google Play by searching for "IntraMuros" and selecting the commune of Feytiat. A web version also exists: www.intramuros.org/feytiat.
