Between June 25 and July 31, 2026, a survey was carried out among residents of the Val de Vienne. The objective was to better understand their information habits, their knowledge of the Communauté de communes, and their opinions on the different communication channels used. A total of 467 people participated, with 401 completing the entire questionnaire.
The website (valdevienne.fr) and the intercommunal magazine stand out as the most known and used information tools. The IntraMuros application is also popular. These results confirm the need to maintain a complementary approach between print and digital formats to adapt to the diverse habits of the population.
More than half of the respondents (55.8%) state they know the Communauté de communes well. However, 41.2% only know it by name, highlighting the importance of better explaining its role, responsibilities, and actions in the territory.
86.2% of participants expressed satisfaction with the content disseminated. The main barrier to using information tools identified is lack of awareness. The survey also collected 58 free comments, 48 of which provided concrete suggestions on information frequency, accessibility, maintaining print, and strengthening proximity.
These contributions, complementing the quantitative data, offer avenues for evolving intercommunal communication. The focus will be on promoting existing tools, clarifying the role of each channel, and providing more accessible information tailored to different audiences.
