This Tuesday, November 3rd, Domolandes hosted a new edition of Construire en Numérique, focusing on artificial intelligence and its concrete applications in the construction sector.

The event brought together companies, experts, construction, real estate, and digital professionals, as well as institutional representatives and elected officials. The goal was to discuss how to transition from theoretical AI concepts to truly useful on-the-ground applications.
Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant prospect; it is already transforming project design, costing, planning, analysis, and management. The challenge now is to identify operational uses, the benefits companies can expect, and the conditions necessary for its integration into organizations.
The morning featured expert insights, testimonials, and feedback on various themes: AI applications in infrastructure and buildings, design, regulations, evolving professions, generative design, costing, and logistics. Speakers included Mallory Gombault, Colas, NOBATEK, and the FFB.
Lunch extended the discussions with a networking cocktail and a presentation of the work by the Domolandes Research Laboratory on AI applied to territorial management.
The afternoon focused on experimentation and collective intelligence through three workshops. Participants worked on the conditions for integrating AI into organizations, identifying its opportunities and risks, as well as specific needs and expectations of construction professionals.
This day facilitated the confrontation of visions, sharing of concrete experiences, and importantly, placed artificial intelligence within a pragmatic approach: that of a tool serving businesses, professions, and projects. Domolandes thus reaffirms its role as a meeting and reflection hub for the construction sector.
