Guillaume Bonny opened Chez Guillaume, a bakery-pastry-chocolate shop in May 2026. Located at 130 avenue du 8 Mai 1945, this new local business offers daily products made on-site, respecting traditional know-how.
Coming from a family of bakers, Guillaume, with over 20 years of experience, decided to embark on his own venture. After opening his first bakery in Sanguinet in 2023, he took a new step in May 2026 by opening Chez Guillaume in Parentis-en-Born, taking over the premises of the former bakery Chez Katia.
The choice of Parentis-en-Born was natural, particularly due to the possibilities offered by the spacious premises, which also include a large production area. With seven qualified professionals, the team at Chez Guillaume works daily to prepare breads, viennoiseries, pastries, and other specialties.
In the workshop, batches are made on-site to ensure freshness, quality, and consistency, with particular attention paid to traditional French bakery know-how. The offerings include breads, pure butter croissants, pain au chocolat, brioches, raisin breads, as well as pastries, chocolates, and snacking products. In the autumn, a chocolate space will be developed, featuring a refined selection of chocolates and high-end creations.
The bakery also features a partially covered terrace with about ten seats, ideal for a gourmet break or a moment of relaxation. Daily on-site production, product diversity, and customer service are at the heart of this new Parentis address. Embellishment work is planned soon to make the space even more pleasant for customers.
