The association L’Échappée littéraire, founded by Ingrid Ledru and Johanna Beragne, aims to share the passion for reading and creativity within the world of romance. Based in Montardon, it caters to fans of new romance, dark romance, and romantasy.
The program includes thematic weekends dedicated to specific books, featuring reading sessions, discussions, and creative activities. Members can also participate in workshops for making bookmarks, decorating bookshelves, or creating reading trackers.
Another offered activity is 'jaspage,' a technique for decorating the edges of books. The events are held in various locations, including Laaps’Art in Montardon and bookstores in Pau.
