The town of Serres-Castet celebrated Octobre Rose on Saturday, October 10th, with a day of solidarity, sharing, and awareness, marked by significant collective mobilization.

Numerous local stakeholders joined forces for the Octobre Rose event, organized by the town hall. The Alexis-Peyret social center, the Amicale Laïque and its sections (padel, dance, walking, cycling tourism), the APE, the Blood Donation service, the Abailan dancers, CPAM, and France Services were present, alongside mobilized elected officials. Decorations in the event's colors were created by Patch’n Co.
Valuable support was provided by the military personnel of the 5th RHC, who assisted with setup and cleanup as part of a partnership agreement. The mobilization continues this week with an activity offered by the Judo section of the Amicale Laïque.
Fundraising for the League Against Cancer continues until the end of the month at the shops on the Place des 4 Saisons, where collection boxes are available. All collected donations will be given to the League.
The town hall expresses its gratitude to all associations, partners, shopkeepers, volunteers, elected officials, and participants for their commitment and generosity, emphasizing the importance of this mobilization for a crucial cause.
