From November 18 to December 3, 2026, tenants of Habitat de la Vienne will have the opportunity to elect their representatives to the Board of Directors of their housing provider. This vote, held every four years, allows residents to choose those who will participate in decisions aimed at improving their housing, building, and neighborhood.
These tenant representatives commit for four years to the well-being of residents. They address numerous issues such as necessary works, maintenance of common areas, rent evolution, cost control, residence management, work programs, and neighborhood future. As full members of the organization's board of directors, they have real power to voice tenant concerns on strategic and operational choices concerning the future of their residence. Their association provides daily support and relays residents' questions, remarks, or expectations.
To be eligible to vote, one must hold a lease for an Hlm housing unit for at least 6 weeks prior to the election date, regardless of nationality.
