The goal is to promote early detection of certain diseases, identify potential risks, and empower individuals to take charge of their health.
The process begins with a welcome where an agent collects necessary information. A discussion then covers lifestyle habits, medical history, and health needs. Health professionals, including nurses and doctors, conduct the planned examinations and analyses, which may include various checks and screenings.
At the end of the examination, the doctor discusses the results with the individual and suggests potential follow-up actions. Personalized advice can be offered on topics such as diet, physical activity, mental health, sexual health, smoking, or disease prevention. If needed, referral to a healthcare professional or further monitoring may be recommended, and a report is provided.
The health prevention check-up does not replace regular medical follow-up but offers an additional opportunity to get informed and adopt health-promoting habits. It is not mandatory.
The health examination center in Angoulême is open Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:15 PM to 4 PM.
