The Early Childhood service of the Parthenay-Gâtine Community of Communes, in collaboration with the consulting firm Ithéa, has launched a survey for families in the area. The aim is to better understand their daily concerns, lifestyles, and knowledge of existing parenting services (childcare, activities, support).
Families are invited to anonymously answer a questionnaire that takes about ten minutes. The results will help gather the needs of families and key stakeholders, refine expectations regarding parenting, assess the current offerings, and plan concrete actions for parenting development across the community of communes. This includes formalizing the Family Resource Center project.
This initiative is part of a parenting diagnosis phase that combines several approaches: statistical analysis, documentary review, interviews with strategic stakeholders, a family survey, open workshops for families, and a working group involving elected officials, staff, and partners. The survey is being distributed from September 22 to November 2.
A second phase will focus on the parenting strategy and the family resource center project, through co-construction workshops and a validation meeting with a steering committee. The study is funded by the Caisse d’allocations familiales (Family Allowance Fund), the Mutualité sociale agricole (Agricultural Social Mutual Fund), and the Pacte des solidarités of the DDETSPP (Departmental Directorate for Employment, Labor, Solidarities, and Population Protection).
The Maurice-Caillon childhood center and other local reception facilities will be available to assist individuals needing help to complete the form.
